Senegal striker Demab Ba is a major doubt for the game against Tunisia in the third matchday of the African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Tunisia on Friday because of an ankle injury.

Senegal's national team coach announced that the Besiktas striker Demab Ba will undergo medical scans to declare his status for Friday's game.

The former Chelsea scorer is not the only absence in the Teranga Lions squad ahead of Tunisia game as they also will lose the services of Cheikhou Kouyate, Lamine Sane, Mame Biram Diouf and Pape Ndiaye Souare due to injuries.

Senegal are bidding to secure a place in the 2015 African Cup of Nations that will take place in Morocco as they are leading their Group G with 6 points by goal difference with runners up Tunisia.
