Stewart Downing equalized in the 73rd minute as West Ham came from two goals down to secure a 2-2 draw at Stoke on Saturday in the Premier League.

Stoke looked to have a commanding lead after Victor Moses put the hosts ahead in the 33rd minute and Mame Biram Diouf headed in the second in the 56th. But Enner Valencia pulled a goal back with a header in the 60th after a cross from Downing, and then set up the equalizer for his teammate 13 minutes later.

The draw ended West Ham's three-game winning streak and Sam Allardyce's team dropped out of the top four into fifth after a surprisingly strong start to the season.

Stoke is 12th after missing a chance to climb into the top half of the table.
