Senegal midfielder Cheikhou Kouyate has admitted that his side will have a tough mission against Egypt in Africa Nations Cup qualifiers but says that players are determined to realise a positive result in Cairo.
Senegal will face Egypt on 15 November in Cairo before hosting Botswana four days later.
"It will be a very tough game but we are not worried," Kouyate told local medias on Thursday.
"It will be important to qualify to the Africa Cup of Nations. We are determined to realise our target."
Senegal are second in group G with 7 points, just one point ahead of Egypt and three behind group leaders Tunisia.
On the other hand Besiktas Senegalese striker Demba Ba slammed coach Alain Giresse after dropping him from the squad that will play against Egypt, adding that he is fit for the game.
The French coach said that Demba Ba suffered a foot injury.
"I am fit for Egypt's clash," Demba Ba told Africa top sport on Thursday.
"Giresse asked me about my injury and I told him that I am fully recovered."
"I am really surprised with his decision." he added.
