Wilfried Bony is on the verge of joining English Premier League holders Manchester City who are in advanced talks with Swansea City for a potential January switch for the Ivory Coast hitman.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester City are ready to splash the cash for the services of the 26-year-old forward, who scored 25 goals in 48 appearances in all competitions last season.
The Citizens, who also boast another Ivory Coast star in Yayo Toure, are set to finalize a £30m deal for Bony to bolster a frontline that has been plagued with several injuries of late.
Bony, who featured for Ivory Coast in the 2014 World Cup finals in Brazil, has been on the radar of several clubs last summer, with Tottenham and Liverpool being among those interested to sign him.
He is now set to link up with The Elephants ahead of this month's Africa Cup of Nations, which begins on January 17 in Equatorial Guinea.
