Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio was reportedly in Barcelona on Wednesday night to meet with Manchester City officials and Ivorian midfielder Yaya Toure over a likely transfer next summer.

Inter coach Roberto Mancini has made it no secret that he wants to bring the gifted midfielder to San Siro to rebuilt the Nerazzurri squad.

La Corriere dello Sport claims that an initial agreement has been reached, but the financial issues may be a hurdle.

The 31-year-old midfielder is one of the highest earners at City with a reported weekly fee of €300,000.

The Citizens crashed out of the Champions League after losing to Barcelona on a 3-1 aggregate and may need to offload some of their big names.

The English giants have reportedly put a price tag of €28million on the four-time African player of the year.

According to the report, Inter are looking for a sponsor to endorse the transfer fee and Toure's wage, which is astronomical in comparison with Serie A reduced wages.
