According to Tunisian daily newspaper Al-Sabah, Sfaxien officials contacted Faouzi Benzarti right after their 3-2 defeat to Moroccan FUS Rabat with the aim of replacing Pierre Lechantre.

However, Benzarti, the 60-year old tactician, is reportedly considering his options as he has many offers on the table coming from Egyptian outfits Masry and the United Arab Emirates team.

Benzarti has just been sacked by Esperance after conceding a 6-1 humiliating defeat (on aggregate) to Congolese giants TP Mazembe in the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League final.
