Esperance de Tunis international striker Ahmed Akaishi has been ruled out from the squad that will prepare for the upcoming clash against Ahly in the Confederation Cup group stage opener in Suez on Sunday.

The Tunisian giants said the player's absence is due to 'disciplinary reasons'.

However, the international striker expressed his displeasure over the club's board decision, saying that he would consider leaving the club.

"They urged me to quit the club,'' the international player told Tunisian media on Thursday.
