Esperance de Tunis' clash against Stade Malien in the African Confederation Cup group stage was called off after 50 minutes on Sunday as rain showers made the pitch unplaybale.
The match was suspended five minutes after the restart due to a downpour of rain at Modibo Keita stadium in Bamako with the visitors leading 1-0, thanks to a goal from Samuel Eudok in the 23rd minute.
In accordance with CAF's regulations, the referee decided to resume game on Monday from the 50th minute.
Esperance de Tunis lost their three previous games as they lie at the bottom of Group A without a single point while Stade Malian are third with four points, five behind leaders Etoile Sportive du Sahel who defeated Egyptian giants and title holders Ahly 1-0 on Saturday.
