Egyptian Premier League club Maqassa is to start the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup in the preliminary round, while counterparts ENPPI will appear directly in Round 32 of the continental tournament.
ENPPI and Maqassa will represent Egypt in Africa's secondary club football competition after ending the Egyptian league last season ranked third and fourth respectively.
According to the draw that was held in Senegal late Friday, Maqassa will take on Defence of Ethiopia in the preliminary round. The first leg will be played from 12-14 February, while the return leg will be in Egypt form 26-28 of the same month.
Maqassa could face CS Don Bosco of DR Congo if they reach Round 32. The first leg will be from 11-13 March, while the return leg will be from 18-20 March.
In the same round, ENPPI will start its campaign by facing the winner between Congo's Diables Noirs and Africa Sport of Ivory Coast. The first leg will be played away, while the return one will be in Egypt.
Round 16 matches
If the petroleum club reaches Round 16, they will be facing CF Mounana (Gabon), Fomboni de Moheli (Comores) or Athletico Olympic (Burundi).
Maqassa could be facing Nasarawa United (Nigeria), Generation Foot (Senegal) or CS Constantinois (Algeria) if they manage to proceed to the same round.
The first leg match will be played 8-10 April, while the return match will be at home from 19-20 April.
In 2015's edition of the CAF Confederation Cup, Cairo giants Ahly and Zamalek were eliminated from the semi final.
