Morocco’s Wydad of Casablanca manager, Michel Decastel is confident of overcoming their Algerian guests Mouloudia when they meet next Saturday in the second round of the CAF Champions League group stage.

The two teams will be in a must-win situation as in the first round Wydad held to a 3-3 draw against Egypt’s Ahly in Cairo while Mouloudia were also drawn 1-1 Tunisia’s Esperance.

“We have to grab the three points in order to capitalise on the one we got in Egypt. The basic thing in such a competition is to win all home matches. We are awaiting a difficult game and that is why we are doing our best during training sessions in order not to falter on Saturday,” Decastel told the confederation of African football (CAF) official website on Tuesday.

Decastel watched Mouloudia’s game against Esperance and believes that preparing his players physically will ensure his team's win with the support of the Moroccans.

“The physical aspect will play a big role and we are focusing on that aspect in our training. But I have total confidence in my players. They are used to such high stakes matches. And if we have the support of the public, I think we will get the victory,” the Swiss coach explained.

All four Arab sides in Groub B are level with a solitary point.
