Midfielder Ismail Abdul Razak has signed a three-year contract with Spanish second division side Real Valladolid.

The 21-year-old midfielder made a huge impact after being named the best player in the country and making a good impression in the Europa League.

“I am excited to get the chance of playing in Spain and the little push from me will make me achieve things I dreamt of,” Ismail told Ghanasoccernet.

“I have the dream of playing for Ghana at a high level because I have played for my country’s youth sides.

“Playing in Spain will bring peoples’ attention to what I can do for my country and I will work hard to give my country and club a good name,” he added.

The Ghanaian midfielder is tipped to be the new Michael Essien, courtesy of his abundance of skills and effort in midfield.
