Senegal's striker Sadio Mane could leave Southampton as the Premier League side seem ready to sell him this summer, according to English and Senegalese reports.

The 23-year-old was reportedly a target for Premier League giants Manchester United, who reports said are ready to negotiate with Southampton over the £30million price tag on Mane.

Southampton's Dutch coach Ronald Koeman seems willing to let go of the Senegalese striker if the asking price is met.

"We do not play with three in front, we play with two strikers and that is one reason Mane did not start," Koeman told the Mirror on Tuesday following a Premier League game with Swansea on Saturday.

"We play a little bit different at the moment.

"In the last few weeks he has been struggling a little bit with his performances."

Mane, who has scored 13 goals in 54 league games since joining the Saints from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg in the summer of 2014, is struggling this season, going 15 matches without scoring.
