Esperance of Tunisia players
Tanzania's Young Africans defeated Sagrada Esperanca of Angola 2-0 in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup last 16 on Saturday to move close to a place in group stage of the competition.
South Africa's Mamelodi Sundowns also came from behind to earn a 3-1 victory over Ghana's Medeama and gain a first-leg home advantage.
Medeama striker Kwakwa put the visitors ahead with a first-minute goal but Sundowns rallied in the last 10 minutes to register a remarkable win.
Sundowns turned the tables as striker Leonardo Castro equalised in the 81st minute, Khama Billat put them ahead three minutes later and Cuthbert Malajila extended the gap on 87 minutes.
Elsewhere, El Merreikh of Sudan defeated Morocco's Kawkab 1-0 at home.
In other games, Stade Malien of Mali and Algeria's MO Bejaia were held to 0-0 home draws by Morocco's FUS Rabat and Tunisian side Esperance respectively.
The second leg games will be played on 17 and 18 May.
