Gyan Asamoah said on Thursday he expects a tough game against Sudan in African Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday due to the pressure Ghana are under.

"The pressure will be on us," Gyan was quoted as saying in KickOff magazine. "If we beat Sudan and qualify it is no news but if they beat us and qualify then it is a big deal," the Al-Ain striker added.

Ghana and Sudan have 13 points each but the Black Stars top the group on goal difference and they are looking for at least a point to secure qualification for next year’s tournament in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

The Blacks Stars were runners-up in the 2010 finals when they lost against Egypt through a late extra-time winner from Mohamed Nagui "Gedo".
