A goal from Chisom Chikatara, once a Zamalek target, gave Wydad Casablanca a 1-1 draw away to Zambia's ZESCO United which helped them finish on top of their group in the African Champions League to set up a semi-final meeting with Egypt' Zamalek.

The hosts opened the scoring in the 16th minute, thanks to David Owino, but Chikatara secured a share of spoils 10 minutes in the second half.

Morocco's Wydad managed to retain their position on top of Group A with 11 points, two ahead of second-placed ZESCO who joined them in the last four.

Wydad will face Zamalek, who finished second in Group B, in the semis while ZESCO will take on South Africa's Sundowns.
