Nabil El Zhar scored two goals and set up another to lead Las Palmas to a 5-1 rout of Granada in the Spanish league on Sunday.

El Zhar struck from the edge of the area to open the scoring in the 23rd minute.

Granada's Jeremie Boga made it 1-1 from long range, but Kevin-Prince Boateng headed the hosts back in front in the 50th.

El Zhar put the match away with a goal and an assist for Jeronimo "Momo" Figueroa before Sergio Araujo polished off the win.

Boateng, who also scored on his debut last weekend, left because of injury shortly after his goal.

Las Palmas has started the league season in fine form with nine goals in two victories.

Also, Sporting Gijon drew 0-0 at Alaves.
