Taye Taiwo confirmed on Monday that he is looking to adjust to the Italian League, and added that there is some difference between football in Italy and France.

"In France, football is more physical; in Italy it is more tactical. I need to improve my movement without the ball," Taiwo was quoted as saying by KickOff Magazine.

The 26-year-old player moved to Milan last summer from French side Olympique de Marseille, but he has failed to establish himself with the Italian giant, playing only 51 minutes in nine matches.

Taiwo added that he has no intention to leave the San Siro, denying reports suggested that Taiwo could be sold at the end of this season.

"I want to stay here for many years. For me, AC Milan can win both the championship and the Champions League. In the summer Real Madrid also tried [to sign me], but I am sure I made the right choice by saying yes to Milan."
