Demba Ba, Newcastle’ hat-trick hero on Monday, said on Tuesday he was very happy by the club’s current form which moved them to the third place in the English Premier League table.

"We are really enjoying it and that gives us a lot of confidence, so we are just going to try to keep on doing the same things every week, ‘’ Demba Ba told the club’s official website.

Newcastle defeated Stoke City 3-1 on Monday after the in-form Ba scored thrice to maintain their hardly-expected sizzling run in the elite competition, their best in 61 years.

The Magpies, who have yet to taste defeat this season, can move second in the table if they beat Everton at home on Sunday.

"I'm happy to tell you the truth. I am very happy. I am just going to enjoy it for the next few days. I am very happy for the team as well because we worked hard," the Senegalese striker added.

The 26-year-old, who joined Newcastle in the close season after leaving West Ham, is the team’s top scorer with eight goals.
