CAF Confederation Cup holders TP Mazembe of the Democratic Republic of Congo and South African giants Supersport United booked their places in the competition's quarterfinals on Saturday after beating Guinea's Horoya A.C and Gabon's C.F. Mounana respectively.
Mazembe cemented their lead of Group D after beating Horoya A.C 2-1 in the final round of the group stage.
Supersport United, who finished second in the group with 10 points, made use of home advantage to crush Mounana 4-1.
Horoya and Mounana were eliminated after finishing third with 9 points and fourth with no points respectively.
