Tunisia’s Club Africain board has reached an agreement with Algerian coach Abdelhak Benchikha to take the charge of the club again, Tunisian newspaper Assbah revealed on Saturday without disclosing any details.

Benchikha, who parted ways with Algerian club Mouloudia Alger last October and returned to working as a television sports analyst, will replace Tunisian coach Faouzi Benzarti who was sacked after the club’s recent humble results.

Reports on Saturday claimed that the 48-year-old tactician, Benchikha, will arrive Tunisia on Monday to sign a one-year and a half contract.

Benchikha led Club Africain before in 2007 and 2008. He succeeded to lead the club to win the domestic league season in the 2007/2008 season.
