The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) have announced on their official website the final change for the Nile Basin tournament draw, placing Kenya in the second group instead of Uganda.

The new friendly competition is divided into two groups. The first group combines Egypt, Tanzania, Uganda and Burundi while the second group includes Sudan, Kenya and DR Congo. (Kenya replaced Uganda)

The EFA put Sudan and Uganda in two different groups as the Sudanese protested the draw results because they were already drawn with Uganda in the African Nations Championship 2011 - a CAF tournament designed exclusively for African-based players.

Egypt will play against Tanzania on January 5, Uganda on the 8th and Burundi on the 11th.
