Arsenal’s Moroccan striker Marouane Chamakh expressed his displeasure concerning his lack of playing time and added he could leave the English giant at the end of this season.
"I cannot stay in this situation forever. I'm 27, I'm a competitor, I want to play, I accept many things here because it works. But I cannot live like this forever. I will make a decision this spring," Chamakh was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
The international striker, who was instrumental in Arsene Wenger’s squad last season, started only one game this season with The Gunners.
Reports suggested that the 27-year-old will leave the Emirates stadium in January but that possibility is unlikely, given his international commitments with the Moroccoan national team during January's African Cup of Nations.
"I have the idea that I will finish the season at Arsenal, But in May and June, I will see things differently,’’ he added.
Concerning a possible return to France, Chamakh admits that it will be for his former club FC Bordeaux.
"I always said if I had to return to France, it would be with Bordeaux." He concluded.
