Sundowns and Bafana striker Katlego Mphela has reportedly become a target for English Premier League side Queens Park Rangers, which lodged an enquiry with Sundowns concerning the international striker.

"There has been an enquiry made, but I can't comment further than that,” the player’s advisor, Glyn Binkin, told kickoff.com.

Reports suggest that Queens Park manager Mark Hughes, who is looking for an offensive boost for his team, was impressed by Mphela’s capacities.

The 27-year-old striker gave a fine performance with both his club and the Bafana Bafana during the last year.

He is currently top scorer for the South Africa League with nine goals and is also third best scorer in Bafana Bafana’s history, with 22 goals in 44 matches.
