Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel joined compatrios Sfaxien in the African Confederation Cup quarter-finals on Sunday while defending champions Raja de Casablanca of Morocco were eliminated after ending third in their group.
Raja's 4-1 win away against Congo's Otoho d'Oyo was not sufficient for the defending champions to advance to the knockout stage as they finished with seven points, just one behind second-placed Hassania Agadir who defeated group leaders RS de Berkane (11 points) earlier on Sunday.
In Group B, Etoile du Sahel booked their place in the last eight after defeating Burkinabe side Salitas in Sousse, thanks to Ben Larbi who scored the winner as early as the sixth minute.
Already-qualified Sfaxien ended their group stage campaign with a 1-0 away win over Enugu Rangers on Sunday.
They are on the top of group with 12 points, two points ahead of second-placed Etoile du Sahel.
