Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel regained the top spot in Group B of African Champions League after a comfortable 3-0 at Platinum of South Africa on Saturday.

Spanish Coach Juan Carlos Garrido maintained his perfect start with the Tunisians after last week's home victory over Egyptian giants Ahly 1-0, moving to the top of the group with six points after two games.

Algerian striker Karim Aribi scored twice either side of the interval, on minutes 23 and 47, while Hazem Haj Hassen completed the rout in injury time.

Ahly lie second in the group after beating Al-Hilal of Sudan 2-1 on Friday in Cairo.

In Group C, USM of Algeria held Petro Atletico of Angola to a 1-1 draw in Luanda. Zakaria Benchaa put USMA ahead in the 54th minute but Antonio Rosa Ribeiro scored the equaliser 10 minutes later.

Later on Saturday Wydad Casablanca will host Mamelodi Sundowns in Group C, while Egyptian giants Zamalek will host Primero de Agosto in Group A.
