Chelsea's Ivorian striker Didier Drogba refused to concede that his team was "inferior" to rival Barcelona one day before Wednesday's Champions League semi-finals at Stamford Bridge.
''It will be 50-50, even if they see Barcelona as the best team in the world and the squad as the best on the planet,'' Drogba told French magazine France Football.
"Nobody can predict the result," he added. "In two games, anything can happen.''
The veteran striker went on to say that the Blues had taken valuable lessons from past encounters with their formidable rivals.
"We played against Barcelona on numerous occasions," he said. "We know how to play against them."
In 2009, Chelsea were eliminated from Champions League semi-finals after two draws (0-0, 1-1) and a victory by Barcelona on the away-goal rule after a 1-1 aggregate draw.
"It will be our second semi-final against Barca," said Drogba. "The first time we were eliminated without losing, but this time we plan to reach the final."
''It was a few years ago, so things have changed," he added. "But the desire's the same – we want to beat them. It will be a tough game for us, but we're ready to play.''
