Tunisian giants Esperance de Tunis announced on Thursday that defender Mohamed Ali Yaakoubi and midfielder Ghaylen Chaaleli will not be available for the second leg of the Champions League semi-final.

Yaakoubi has tested positive of coronavirus while Chaaleli suffered a muscle injury.

Esperance de Tunis will have a mountain to climb on Saturday when they face Ahly in the Champions League semi-final, as the Tunisians will be looking to overturn their 1-0 home defeat in the first leg last Saturday.

Ahly striker Mohamed Sherif put the nine-time African Champions ahead thanks to a 67th minute goal that puts Ahly close to their second final in a row.

The Tunisian side is set to arrive in Cairo on Thursday night.
