Moroccan player Mbark Boussoufa
Moroccan international Mbark Boussoufa came ahead of Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku in a vote of journalists, players and coaches to win .
The 26-year old midfielder received the trophy on Wednesday from Morocco's Belgian coach Erik Gerets.
Boussoufa has previously been named Belgian Footballer of the Year three times, in 2006, 2009 and 2010.
The former Ajax Amsterdam and Chelsea trainee joined Anderlecht in 2006 for 3.5m euro, inspiring them to win the Belgian title in 2007 and 2010 and the Belgian Cup in 2008.
