Nigerian defender Joseph Yobo said on Monday he is looking to complete a permanent move to Turkish side Fenerbache this season.
The Everton defender was loaned to Fenerbache the last two seasons and he helped the Turkish side to win the league title in 2011 and to win this season’s Turkish Cup.
"Moving to Fenerbahce was the best thing in my career," Yobo was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
"I joined them because I was eager to win silverware. The 2011 Super Lig title and the Turkish Cup justified that. I hope my permanent move to Fenerbahce is concluded soon," he added.
The 31- year-old defender, who spent eight years in the Premier League since he joined Everton in 2002, believes that the Turkish league is more technical than the Premier League.
"The Turkish league is more technical than the Premier League. The Premier League is more physical and most popular in the world, but after playing for seven years in England, I think the Turkish league is of a better quality," he concluded.
