CAF (Confederation of African Football) Cup holders Maghreb de Fez (MAZ) are set to lodge a complaint with the CAF after a dramatic night losing 2-0 to Congolese side AC Leopards and finishing the game with only seven men on the pitch.

The Morocco players were disturbed by two pitch invasions by Leopards' fans. Moreover, MAZ will file a complaint against the game's referee who was biased against the Moroccan champions, according to the team's coach and players.

The referee of the match showed the red card for four Moroccan players, leaving the team with only seven players on the field by the end of the game.

The Moroccans struck a 1-0 home win two weeks ago, but Saturday's away game loss saw them leaving the championship.

MAZ made the trip with only 13 players after releasing many at the end of the season in a squad reshuffle.
