“Welcome in Ajaccio,” the club tweeted a photo of the Algerian international posted on their official account on Wednesday.

The 30-year-old joined French side Brest last January as a free agent after terminating his contract with a Qatari side by mutual consent.

He made six appearances with Brest this season before leaving the club in the end of September.

After terminating his contract with Brest, the player was linked with Cairo giants Ahly and Zamalek, who reportedly showed interest in the international forward.

Ajaccio, who were promoted to the Ligue 1 this season, are now 16th on the league table with seven points from 10 games.

Belaili scored nine goals in 45 games with Algeria so far.
