The Cairo giants will be hosted by their Cameroonian counterparts on Friday in the fifth round of the prestigious continental tournament group stage.
“We will play a serious game as we are enjoying improving our image as we are representing both our club and our country,” Agbor told Al-Oula Egyptian TV channel on Wednesday.
“It will be a tactical game. Our team is at full strength as we won’t have any absentees. Fans will be allowed to attend the game for free to give the needed support to win," he added.
Coton already lost hope for advancment to the next round as they lie at the bottom of the group with zero points after losing their four played matches so far. They lost 3-0 to Ahly, 3-1 to South Africa’s Sundowns and 5-2 again to the Sundowns.
“The players' lack of experience is the main reason behind these results. We still have our own ambitions despite this fact,” the Coton coach added.
Ahly's chances of reaching the quarterfinals of the Champions League are also slim as they lie third with just 4 points.
The Reds defeated Coton 3-0 at home, held to a 2-2 draw to Sundowns before Saturday’s heavy 5-2 defeat against the Sundowns again.
Sundowns now lead the group with 10 points, and Al-Hilal of Sudan coming second with nine points.
To keep their hopes alive, Ahly must win their next two games against Coton and Al-Hilal while hoping Al-Hilal loses to the Sundowns in their upcoming match in Sudan.
