Louis Mahout struck first for the visitors in the 25th minute, momentarily dampening the spirits of the Ghanaian crowd. West Ham midfielder Mohammad Kudus, however, restored parity with a brilliantly placed free-kick in the 43rd minute. The decisive moment came in the 87th minute when Ernest Nuahmad netted the winning goal, propelling Ghana into the finals.
This marks the Black Stars' 24th qualification for the AFCON, placing them just two appearances shy of Egypt's record 26 appearances and extending their impressive streak of 10 consecutive qualifications.
Meanwhile, in Angola, the Palancas Negras settled for a goalless draw against Madagascar, securing their ticket to Cote d'Ivoire for the 9th time.
With these results, Ghana sit atop Group E with 12 points, followed by Angola with nine points. The Central African Republic occupy the third spot with seven points, while Madagascar remain at the bottom of the group with three points.
