Emmanuel Adebayor is raring to go after Tottenham Hotspur signed him from mega-rich Manchester City on a permanent basis.
The Togo striker was deemed surplus to requirements at English champions City, who boast some high-profile frontmen including Argentinean duo Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero.
“I'm back!!!! Tottenham here I come!! I'm hungry for goals...Get ready,” Adebayor said on Twitter on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old spent last season on loan at Tottenham from City, scoring 17 goals in 33 appearances.
"We are delighted to announce that we have completed the transfer of Emmanuel Adebayor from Manchester City," Tottenham said.
