The game was called off due to a dispute over the Moroccan team's jerseys, as the Algerian authorities refused to release them.
"I am unsure of the reason for calling off the game," said Shadow on TV after the goalless draw with Zamalek in the first leg of the semifinals on Sunday.
Dreams FC is set to face Zamalek in the second leg on Sunday to determine the team that will advance to the final.
"I hope CAF will consider the game against Zamalek as the champion of the Confederation Cup," he added.
No decision has been made regarding the fate of the match, and its rescheduling or cancellation remains uncertain.
