Montpellier's boss René Girard praised on Sunday the team's Moroccan forward, Younes Belhanda, who appeared in great form during Montpellier's 3-0 win over Ajaccio on Sunday in the French Ligue 1.

The international forward scored the third goal for his team, which clinched a precious three points that could to improve their situation in the Ligue1.

The defending champions were struggling in the Ligue 1 as they fell to the 12th place in the league table.

"Younes is a talented player. He has suffered some difficult moments, but he succeeded to make a great come back," René Girard was quoted as saying by Mountakhab.net.

"He is a good player but not great yet. I think if continues with this level of performance, he will be a great one soon," he added.

Belhanda, who gave an impressive performance during Montpellier's triumphant campaign in the Ligue 1 last season, scoring 12 goals in 28 games, has failed to achieve a similar level of play, scoring five goals in 14 matches.
