Based on points awarded when a player's goals have equalized, won a match or put his team ahead, Cisse's 16 goals in 22 games have been converted into 18 points to put him top of the German hot-shots.
It makes him the most effective striker for his German league team compared to Hanover's Didier Ya Konan (13.5), and Eintracht Frankfurt's Theofanis Gekas (13).
The league's top scorer, Germany's Mario Gomez of Bayern Munich, scored only 12.16 points under the scheme, according to figures released by Munich firm Sports Media Service.
Gomez is the league's top scorer with 18 goals from 22 games with Cisse second on 16 and Gekas third with 14.
