Following to his impressive performance during the FIFA U 20 World Cup, Ghana's striker Ebenezer Assifuah said he wants to play in the Premier League

The Liberty Professionals' striker helped Ghana to their third place in the U20 World Cup which ended last Saturday, with his six goals to finish as the tournament's top scorer.

Several top Europeans' clubs have showed interest in the youth player, but the 20-year-old confirmed that he prefers the Premier League.

"I understand plenty scouts were in Turkey to watch us, but for me as a player the most important thing was to play my game and help my national team. That’s exactly what I did," Assifuah was quoted as saying via Ghanasoccernet.

"Every young footballer’s dream is to play in Europe and I think I have the same ambitions. I want to make it big, but in life everything starts with a step at a time. For me, it will be a dream come true to play in Europe, so if I get any offer, which is good, I will go."

"I fancy playing in the English Premier League which I enjoy most when watching, so if I get the opportunity why not? I want to play with a club in Europe and win the Champions League."
