After conceding a 2-0 defeat to Egyptian giants Ahly, SuperSport coach Gavin Hunt is confident that his team can turn the table around and reach the next stage.
Hunt commented on Friday’s defeat to his strikers’ dip in form, hinting that the game was very easy but his strikers lost their way to the net.
“We had six clear chances on target but my strikers failed to get any of them,” SuperSport tactician told a press conference after the game.
The South African outfit had a couple of balls denied by the post as well as some opportunities by in-form Kermit Erasmus and Fikru Lemessa, but they failed to break the deadlock.
“I will talk to my players and explain their mistakes in order to get through Ahly in South Africa,” he concluded.
The South African giants will host Ahly on 2 April in the second leg of CAF Champions League round 32.
