The Confederation of African Football's executive committee has decided that Rabat, Marrakech, Agadir and Tangier will be the host cities for the 2015 African Cup of Nations in Morocco.
CAF said Monday it confirmed the four cities at its executive committee meetings on Saturday and Sunday. The African Football body said Morocco's largest city Casablanca will be the "alternative" or reserve venue for the tournament, which will run Jan. 17-Feb. 7.
CAF also said the Libyan Football Federation had submitted cities and venues for approval for its hosting of the African Cup in 2017. CAF did not name the suggested cities.
Libya was supposed to host the tournament early this year but allowed South Africa to take over because of the 2011 civil war that ousted Moammar Gadhafi.
