Premier League side Norwich City revealed on Thursday that they are in talks with Nigerian defender Joseph Yobo to secure a loan deal with him during this transfer window.

The international defender spent eight years at Everton but left to join Turkish side Fenerbahce in 2010. Now Norwich City hopes to bring him back to the Premier League.

In a statement published on Norwich City's official website, the side confirmed that it was in talks with Fenerbahce to "bring experienced Nigerian international central defender Joseph Yobo to Carrow Road on loan until the end of the season."

Norwich are 12th in the Premier League table, just five points above the relegation zone.
