Morocco's international forward Adel Taarabt joined AC Milan on Thursday after signing a six-month loan deal with the Italian giants.

Taarabt, who is under contract with Championship side Queens Park Rangers until 2016, was loaned to Fulham last summer before completing his move to Milan on Thursday.

The 24-year old has struggled to impress Fulham since joining the club last summer, playing 12 matches in the Premier League to date.

Taarabt expressed his delight over the transfer, calling Milan the best club in the world.

"I have spoken with [head coach Clarence] Seedorf and we are both happy. I am an attacker and I like to play behind the strikers," Tarrabt told Milan Channel.

He added that while he did not know forward Mario Balotelli personally, he was "pleased to be able to play with him."
