Club Sfaxien's coach Hamadi Daw voiced confidence ahead of Thursday's CAF Super Cup tie against Ahly, saying his side will return to Tunisia with the African title.
"We are here to win the Super Cup," Daw told a news conference in Cairo on Tuesday.
"We will do our best during the game to score an early goal and take an early lead in this difficult game.
"We know that Ahly are struggling in the Egyptian League but we have to be cautious during the game, because Ahly are still a great team despite their poor results."
Ahly are looking to end a poor domestic run that saw them lose three out of their last five Egyptian Premier League matches.
The Red Devils are the record holders of the African Super Cup with five titles under their belt. They beat Sfaxien 2-1 in the same competition in 2009.
Sfaxien are looking to win their first Super Cup as they failed to win the title in their two previous appearances.
