Egyptian coach Tarek El-Ashri guided Libyan side Ahly Benghazi to reach the Champions League round of 16 following a 2-0 home win over Ghanaian outfit Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
Striker Ahmed El-Zewi and Edward Sadomba scored the two goals in the 29 and 39 minutes respectively.
The game was the second leg of the round of 32.
The Libyan side were held to a 1-1 draw by Berekum Chelsea in the first-leg last week.
In the same round, Congolese side TP Mazembe secured a place in the competition's round of 16 after defeating Astres Douala of Cameroon 3-0 on Sunday.
Earlier on the day, Tunisian side Club Sfaxien who were boosted by their first leg 2-1 away win over Dedebit of Ethiopia, eased past their opponents 2-0 on Sunday in Tunisia to advance to the next round with a 4-1 aggregate win.
