
Tunisian side Esperance (Reuters)
Esperance de Tunis reached the Champions League's quarters after defeating Real de Bamako of Mali 3-0 in the second leg of round 16 in Tunis on Sunday.
Forward Haythem Jouini gave the hosts a first-half lead as he opened the scoring in the 33rd minute. Striker Ihab Msakni added the second for the Tunisian side eight minutes after the break, while Ghanaian fullback Harrison Afful made it three in the 84th minute.
Algerian side Sportive de Sétif also reserved a place in the Champions League's quarters following their 1-0 win over Cameroonian side Coton Sport on Sunday, thanks to El Hedi Belameiri, who scored the winner in the 11th minute.
The Algerian side won the first leg 1-0 last week.
