After Bayern Munich got Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine in the UEFA Champions League last 16 draw on Monday, the German side's players acted after the event for their advantage to reach the tournament semis.

"It could have been worse but we'll have to be wary," Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery was quoted as saying after the draw.

"If we remain focused, perform well, then I'm confident." Ribery added.

Bayern Munich defensive midfielder Philipp Lahm believes the game against Shakhtar Donetsk won't be easy.

"FC Shakhtar are a dangerous side," Lahm said.

"Our minimum goal has to be to reach the quarter-finals."  He added.

Bayern captain Arjen Robben revealed that Shakhtar is a team need to be analyzed before facing them in the last 16.

"We will analyse our opponents well and play with focus. Then we should progress." Robben said.

Barcelona are expected to face a tough task when they face English Premier League title holders Manchester City in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

"Man. City are a team we wanted to avoid. It's going to be very difficult." Barcelona coach Luis Enrique said after the draw.

First-leg matches will be played Feb. 17-18 and 24-25. Return matches are March 10-11 and 17-18.
