Paris Saint Germain coach Laurent Blanc said he had forgiven strike pair Ezequiel Lavezzi and Edinson Cavani for coming back from Christmas holidays late as he named them in his squad to take on Evian on Sunday.
Blanc dropped the South Americans for the first three games of the new year as punishment and he warned them that he has not forgotten, adding that they owed something to the team.
"Nothing has been forgotten, but we need them for the squad and to attain our objectives. These are two big players and we need them," said Blanc, whose side have slumped to fourth place in the French title race behind Lyon, Marseille and Saint-Etienne.
"It was a stupid thing to do and they realise that now," he added.
Blanc's men are hoping to bounce back from a 4-2 Ligue 1 defeat at lowly Bastia in their last outing, a match the punished pair watched from the stands.
