With United facing Barcelona in next week's Champions League final, Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to rest his key players at Old Trafford, as he has done ahead of European finals in the past.

But Wolves -- who were fined £25,000 last season after making 10 changes for a match against United -- believe the Premier League champions should face similar punishment if they pick a weakened team against Blackpool.

"It would be pretty hypocritical if they weren't (fined)," said Morgan while urging Mick McCarthy's side to remain focused on their own task of beating Blackburn, a result which would ensure their survival.

"We can only do what we have to do," he said.

"I don't know what they will do. United are a very professional club and will not want to lose on the final day, on the day they get presented with the Premier League trophy.

"They are not going to want to lose going into the Champions League final."

Morgan meanwhile is confident Wolves would be able to cope if they were relegated to the Championship, stressing that every player's contract was linked to the division the club was playing in.

"The current players' contracts depend on which division they are in, everybody," he said.

"I know that's not true at a lot of clubs where they've got certain players who are on the same whatever happens.

"Everyone here has got that sort of contract. That's what we do. It is financial suicide to do anything other than that."
