The Anatolia news agency says the 30 were detained in simultaneous raids in 12 cities on Sunday.

NVT television said police were investigating alleged match-fixing in the Turkish league last season, which ended in May with Fenerbahce’s victory.

The detained include Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildirim, officials from other clubs as well as a number of players.
