The 31-year-old came off the bench and scored Bayern's final goal in a 5-0 drubbing of Hamburg on Saturday in the German league, but is struggling with a pelvic injury.
Whether he makes the trip to Switzerland will be decided on Monday morning with Bayern holding a 2-0 lead from last Wednesday's first leg.
Bayern stars Mario Gomez and Arjen Robben, who both scored in the rout of Hamburg, are expected to play despite picking up knocks.
